Chances are if you use the internet at all in your life, you've heard of the social networking giant Facebook. With over 500 million active users (50% of whom log in daily), Facebook is the second most visited website on the internet, only falling behind Google. Traditionally Facebook has been a place for users to connect with friends and share pictures/information about their lives, but more and more businesses are realising the massive potential of getting their brand name out there on Facebook. Briefly mentioned in our previous post, contextual linking is a great way to improve your blog’s rankings in SEO. Now, it’s common knowledge that links coming into your site hold a lot more weight then having links going through it’s own domain.
